WEST MEADE SWIM & TENNIS CLUB HOUSE RULES

(Effective April 5, 2005)

CLUB FACILITIES

The club will be open on such days and for such time as may be established by the Board of Directors. The club manager shall notify the membership monthly in advance of the operating hours of the club facilities.

 FOOD and BEVERAGES

Members may bring in privately prepared food for their own consumption in the proscribed picnic areas. Any parties or catered events shall have prior approval by the club manager. No alcoholic beverages may be consumed or brought on the club grounds, except for club functions designated by the Board as "Adult Functions" and approved by the club manager.

PERSONAL CONDUCT & PRIVILEGES

Equal rights and privileges shall be accorded all club members.

Any person creating a disturbance and/or illegal conduct on club property shall be requested to leave by the club manager or other authorized personnel.

The club shall not be responsible for injury to members, guests or visitors or for loss of, or damage to their property in the clubhouse grounds, or any of its facilities.

Solicitation of funds, circulation of petitions, and advertising of articles for sale shall be prohibited on club grounds in the absence of express written permission from the Board of Directors.

Parking of vehicles shall be in the parking area proscribed.

 SWIMMING POOL REGULATIONS

No running on the pool deck at any time.

Non swimmers are not allowed in the diving well.

Non swimmers may not be left unaccompanied in or around the pool.

The diving well is restricted to diving only, except at the discretion of the club manager or other authorized personnel.

Glass bottles or glassware of any kind are prohibited in or around the pool.

No food is allowed in or around the pool area. Food is allowed in the proscribed picnic areas.

Members and guests must obey the lifeguards and club manager at all times.

Children over age four (4) are not allowed in the baby pool.

Children must be at least ten (10) years old, a proficient swimmer and well behaved, in order to be at the pool without adult supervision. A phone number and/or emergency contact information must be provided the club manager or authorized personnel.

A parent (or designated adult) must be present to pick up unaccompanied children at the scheduled closing time.

A guest fee of $5.00 per day will be required of all visitors. Visitors may come to the pool a total of five (5) times per summer when accompanied by a member. Out of town guests staying in the home of a member may be admitted with the member with no fee at the discretion of the club manager or authorized personnel.

 

TENNIS COURTS REGULATIONS

Tennis shoes and shirts must be worn on the courts.

Only tennis sports equipment is allowed on the courts.

Skateboards, bikes, skates, bats or other such items are not allowed on the courts.

Guests must be accompanied by a club member during use of the courts.

Gates are to be locked whenever a member finishes play and exits the courts.

(Unless the court is in use by another member.)

The last member using the courts at night is responsible for turning off court lights.

Members are expected to keep the pavilion and courts clear of trash or other debris.

Children less than 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult club member while on the courts.

 

MISCELLANEOUS

No club property of any description may be removed from the club grounds.

Complaints and suggestions are invited and should be made in writing to the Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors shall publish an activity schedule together with supplementary rules for it from time to time.

These rules and regulations may be altered and amended by the Board of Directors at any time.
